Eye procedures in Windhoek are performed at Eastgate Clinic, with minor treatments done in the consulting rooms and surgery carried out in our on-site day theatre. This group covers pterygium and conjunctival cyst removal, chalazion (meibomian cyst) excision, removal and repair of eyelid lumps, electrolysis for ingrowing eyelashes, corneal cauterisation and intraocular lens exchange. Procedures are done under local or general anaesthesia as appropriate, and you go home the same day. Medical aid and private patients are welcome, and you can book online.
