Hysteroscopy with uterine septum removal is a telescope examination of the uterus combined with surgical removal of a dividing wall inside the womb, known as a uterine septum, and it is available in Windhoek at Eastgate Clinic. A septum is a band of tissue present from birth that divides part of the uterine cavity, and it can be linked to recurrent miscarriage or difficulty conceiving. Removing it through the hysteroscope restores a more normal uterine shape without open surgery.
