Hysteroscopy with adhesion division is a telescope examination of the uterus combined with the division of internal scar tissue, known as adhesions, and it is available in Windhoek at Eastgate Clinic. Adhesions can form inside the uterus after previous surgery, infection, or pregnancy complications, and they may cause irregular or absent periods, pelvic pain, or difficulty conceiving. During the procedure, a hysteroscope allows your doctor to see and carefully divide the scar tissue to restore normal uterine anatomy.
The procedure is carried out in our on-site day theatre under general or regional anaesthesia. Your doctor will assess your history and symptoms before advising on this treatment.
