An epididymis needle biopsy is a day-surgery needle biopsy of the epididymis, taken to investigate a lump or a fertility concern, and it is available in Windhoek at Eastgate Clinic. The epididymis sits behind the testicle and can develop lumps, swelling, or blockages that affect fertility, and a needle biopsy allows a small tissue sample to be taken for laboratory examination or, in some cases, to retrieve sperm for fertility treatment.

The procedure is carried out in our on-site day theatre under local or general anaesthesia. Your doctor will discuss the reason for the biopsy and explain the findings once results are ready.
