A treated strip is dipped into the sample and changes colour to flag possible infection, blood, protein, sugar, and other markers, giving your doctor an immediate first read on what might be going on.

What to expect
- You provide a midstream urine sample in a sterile container in our rooms
- A reagent strip is dipped in the sample and the colour pads are read within a minute or two
- The strip screens for infection, blood, protein, sugar and other markers at once
- If infection is suggested, the sample may be sent for culture to identify the bacteria
