Therapeutic abdominal fluid drainage, also called paracentesis, is available in Windhoek at Eastgate Clinic to relieve the discomfort caused by ascites. Ascites is a build-up of excess fluid in the abdomen, often linked to conditions like liver disease, certain cancers or heart failure, and it can cause a swollen, tight abdomen, breathlessness and general discomfort.
